There are four types of sneakers:

During the game you have to deal with three currencies: SOL, GST, GMT. The first is needed to buy and sell sneakers, it is not related to the creators of the application. The tokens GMT and GST belong to Stepn. The issue of the first (that is, the maximum possible number of coins) is limited to 6 billion, the second is not. GMT can be earned with high-level sneakers, GST users get for walking and running in the early stages.
Sneakers have four characteristics:
- Efficiency (affects the level of GST token earning);
- Luck (affects how often gems are dropped;
- (allows you to increase base characteristics);
- Comfort (affects how often you earn GMT);
- Resilience (affects how often sneakers need to be repaired).
There are also levels – there are 30 in total, with increasing the level you can increase the characteristics, and you can pump it up for a fee. Also, sneakers come in different rarity, and it also affects the level of earnings.
You can buy sneakers in the app or by hand on the marketplace. The cost starts at about 12 SOL ($527). There is also an option to buy a box with random sneakers in it – it is cheaper, although it is quite risky, because it is easy to get a pair of poor quality.
