Overview: Utah has introduced SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 77) to exempt military vehicles from the requirement to display a license plate. To qualify, the license plate would have to be carried inside the vehicle and ready for inspection by law enforcement upon request. Currently, all vehicles must always display two license plates. The House Transportation Committee passed the bill and it awaits consideration by the full House.
