South Dakota Fails to Pass Bill to Protect Vehicle Choice

South Dakota failed to pass a SAN-supported bill (H.B. 1094) to ensure consumers' choice of vehicle power plants and fuel by preventing a county or city in the state from limiting access to internal combustion engines.

The SAN believes that South Dakota residents, not the government, should decide what vehicles are best for them and their families. The House Local Government Committee failed to consider the bill prior to the required legislative deadline.
