Province of Prince Edward Island Proclaims July 2022 as “Automotive Heritage Month”
Time to celebrate, Prince Edward Island! Thanks to the efforts of the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC), the province is once again declaring the month of July as “Automotive Heritage Month.” The province also proclaimed Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD) on July 8, 2022. Prince Edward Island joins several other provinces that have officially recognized the celebration, a special occasion held concurrently with CCAD.
Earlier this year, the U.S. Congress introduced two resolutions recognizing CCAD on Friday, July 8, at the request of the SEMA Action Network (SAN). Each Congressional resolution acknowledges the day’s significance in raising awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. The date marked the 13th commemoration of what has become an annual event.
