Overview: North Dakota has introduced SAN-supported legislation (H.B. 1295) to allow the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for all passenger vehicles. Under current law, vehicles must display two license plates. The bill is scheduled for a hearing in the Transportation Committee on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
