New Mexico Anti-Enthusiast Bills Defeated

Victory in New Mexico! A pair of SAN-opposed bills died when the legislature adjourned for the year.

• If passed, H.B. 56 would have required front and rear license plates on all vehicles.
• If passed, H.B. 71 would have banned exhaust system modifications that make a vehicle louder than stock.
