New Hampshire Fails to Pass Single Plate Bill

The New Hampshire legislature failed to pass a pair of SAN-supported bills (H.B.393/ H.B. 388) that would have allowed for the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for all passenger vehicles. Under current law, vehicles must display two license plates. The House Transportation Committee deemed the bill “inexpedient to the legislature,” effectively killing them.

Thank you to everyone who voiced support for these bills.
