Nebraska Introduces Single Plate Bill

DON’T DELAY!  Please contact lawmakers to request their support for this bill:

Overview: Nebraska has introduced SAN-supported legislation (L.B. 807) to allow the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for all passenger vehicles. Under current law, most vehicles must display two license plates. In 2016, Nebraska passed into law legislation that allows owners of vehicles not originally equipped with a front bracket to request a single license plate (for a $100 annual fee). The bill is scheduled for a hearing in the Transportation and Telecommunications Committee on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
