Overview: Missouri has introduced SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 796) that would allow historic vehicles to be issued license plates without an annual mileage restriction. Current law limits historic vehicle owners to 1,000 miles of driving for personal use per year. A similar bill was introduced in the state last year and passed the Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee but was not considered by the full Senate prior to adjournment. The bill currently awaits consideration in the Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee.
