Arizona Legislature Adjourns

The Arizona legislature failed to advance a SAN-supported memorial (H.C.M. 2001) urging the U.S. Congress to pass the Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports (RPM) Act (H.R. 3281 and S. 2736). While Arizona’s proposal was symbolic in nature and unlikely to be considered for passage, the support by elected officials in the state to raise awareness for the RPM Act is encouraging.

The RPM Act guarantees your right to modify street cars, trucks, and motorcycles into dedicated race vehicles, and safeguards the industry's right to offer parts that enable racers to compete. The continued effort by racers and fans to remind Congress of the RPM Act’s importance is essential to its passage into law this year.
