West Virginia Bill Introduced to Preserve Appearance of Antique Military Vehicles

DON’T DELAY!  Please contact the West Virginia House Committee on Roads and Transportation Immediately to request support for H.B. 2836:

You may use the following points in your message:

  •  H.B. 2836 provides an alternate registration insignia to antique military vehicles in place of a traditional license plate.

  • H.B. 2836 would preserve the accurate display of these vehicles’ military design and markings as well as protect the aesthetic contours of antique military vehicles.

  • Antique vehicle plates are currently available for vehicles that are more than 25 years old and owned solely as collector’s items.

Overview: West Virginia H.B. 2836 provides antique military vehicles an exemption from the requirement to display license plates. This bill creates an alternative registration insignia that does not interfere with the traditional military markings on the vehicle.
