UPDATE: Nebraska Advances Bill to Encourage E15 Ethanol Fuel Sales

Overview: SAN-opposed legislation (L.B. 562) has been introduced in Nebraska to require gas stations to sell and advertise 15% ethanol blended (E15) fuel from at least half of their pumps. Currently, the standard ethanol blend is 10%. In recent years, similar legislative proposals have failed to be approved in other states. The Agriculture Committee passed the bill, which now goes for a final vote on the floor of the legislature.
