Nebraska Bill to Encourage E15 Ethanol Fuel Sales to be Considered by Committee

Overview: SAN-opposed legislation (L.B. 562) has been introduced in Nebraska to require gas stations to sell and advertise 15% ethanol blended (E15) fuel from at least half of their pumps. Currently, the standard ethanol blend is 10%. In recent years, similar legislative proposals have failed to be approved in other states. The bill is scheduled for a hearing in the Agriculture Committee on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
