As new AACA President, Tom Cox (left) awards a recognition plaque to outgoing president Herb Oakes (right).

A lifelong antique vehicle aficionado, Tom Cox was one of the very first members of the SAN when it was founded in 1997.  He has been an invaluable resource in helping craft pro-hobby legislation ever since, particularly in his home state of Virginia. He has been instrumental in providing guidance on legislation affecting restoration projects, use provisions, registration and titling, exhaust noise and emissions. Last month, he accepted the position of President of the Antique Automobile Club of America. Thank you and congratulations from us all, Tom!
