Mississippi Legislation to Ban Installation of Off-Highway Lights Fails

Mississippi H.B. 221 would have effectively banned the sale, installation and use of spot lamps, flood lamps and other auxilaryvehicle lighting equipment intended for off-highway use. The legislation failed to recognize that most of these lights are already prohibited from being used on public roads and also that they are vital for travelling off-road, especialy in a rural state such as Mississippi. Thanks to all who wrote to their legislators in oppositionof this bill!
