Connecticut Bill to Allow All-Terrain Vehicles on State Lands Introduced

  • H.B. 5022 recognizes the economic value of increasing outdoor recreation in the state.

Overview: Legislation (H.B. 5022) was introduced allow for the creation of All-Terrain Vehicle Trails on State Lands. Under current law, ATV trails are not allowed to be constructed on state-owned lands.  The bill is currently awaiting consideration in the Connecticut Joint Committee on the Environment.
