Michigan Bill to Ease Towing Restrictions Becomes Law

Michigan Bill to Ease Towing Restrictions Becomes Law

Success in Michigan!  Governor Rick Snyder signed legislation (H.B. 5100) into law that allows for the attachment of a tow ball, bicycle rack, removable hitch, or any other device designed to carry an object on the rear of a vehicle without violating the existing law that the rear license plate shall not be obstructed.  By passing the bill, the legislature recognizes that these towing modifications are vital functions for many vehicle owners.
